Writing a New Chapter

If you want to know your past, look into your present conditions. If you want to know your future, look into your present actions. Chinese proverb.

One always has to know when a stage comes to an end.

If we insist on staying longer than the necessary time, we can become dispirited, uninteresting  and lose the happiness and meaning of the other new stages that we have to go through on the journey of life.

Shutting doors behind us, closing cycles, ending chapters, it doesn’t matter what name we give it; what matters is to leave in the past those moments of life that have finished, whatever they are.

Circumstances change, things pass, people come and go out of our lives and the best we can do is let them really go away. Sometimes it’s hard, but until you are willing to let go of the old chapter, you can’t write a new one.
